In the year 1970, a divine anointing from the Holy Spirit descended upon a group of young men from the church at Surandai, a transformative moment that included myself. This marked the initiation of a remarkable journey, where we came together to pray fervently within the sacred walls of the church. United by a shared commitment to spiritual growth, we delved into the scriptures, meditating on the teachings, and embarked on a ministry inspired by the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit.
It was during this period that the concept of the “Prayer Fellowship” took shape. Recognizing the hand of the Holy Spirit as the true founder, we witnessed the outpouring of divine grace that fueled our missionary endeavors. From that point onward, the Prayer Fellowship has been steadfastly engaged in the work of the Lord, carrying forth the mission laid out by the Holy Spirit.
A significant aspect of our ministry involves organizing impactful events to foster spiritual growth. Annually, in the month of January, we host three-day family camps, providing a sacred space for families to come together, reflect, and strengthen their bonds with the divine. Similarly, the month of May sees the congregation gathering for a three-day Men’s Fellowship, fostering camaraderie and spiritual enrichment among the men of the community.
Over the years, our ministry has witnessed numerous individuals dedicating their lives to the Lord. These transformed lives stand as living testimonies to the power of prayer and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Our commitment is unwavering, and we continue to strive for more souls to draw closer to the Lord, finding blessings and guidance through our prayer gatherings.
